کبھی جو تمھیں میری ماں ملیں تو ان سے کہنا  آپ کے بیٹے نے اپنا فرض پورا کردیا ہے  اور مٹی کی محبت میں خود کو مٹی کردیا ہے  ان سے کہنا کہ رویا نہ کریں  کہ شہیدوں کی ما یں رویا نہیں کرتیں  میں اکثر ان سے کہتا تھا اماں دعا کر نا  کہ کبھی آپ کا یہ بیٹا پر چم میں لپٹا آپ کے پاس آے  اور وہ یہ سن کر مسکرا دیتی تھیں  کبھی جو تمھیں میری ماں ملیں تو ان سے کہنا   رویا نہ کریں کہ شہید تو زندہ ہوتے ہیں  ان سے کہنا میں ان کے خوابوں میں آ یا کرونگا  اور آپ سے باتیں کیا کرونگا  کبھی جو تمھیں میری ماں ملیں تو ان سے کہنا  رویا نہ کریں  کہ اکثر خاکی وردی میں جانے والے سبز ہلالی پرچم میں لوٹ کر آتے ہیں  خاکی ~

It's a story of son of the soil ,Sepoy Maqbool Hussain.     Hussain was a resident of Azad Kashmir .He was a sepoy for Pakistan Army in 1965 against India .He was taken as prisoner by the Indian forces but was never given the status of "Prisoner Of War " because this provided him certain rights. He vanished and was declared missing on 20th August, 1965 .The Indians thought they could break down Sepoy Maqbool and get information from him. They tried everything in their power, all sorts of mental and physical torture but they could never break his resilience . ماں تو نے یہ عہد لیا تھا  بیٹا پرچم اونچا رکھنا  جیسی لہر یں جیسا طوفان جیسی بجلی کڑ ک رہی ہو  آگے بڑھنا بڑ ھتے جا نا پرچم اونچا گا ڑ کے آنا  تو نے مجھ سے یہ بھی کہا تھا  ساری بہنیں سارے بھائی سب کو پیارے ہوتے ہیں  ہوتے ہیں کچھ ان کے بھی جو راج دلا رے ہوتے ہیں   جو مٹ جاتے ہیں پاک وطن پر مٹی میں مل جاتے ہیں  میں نے وعدہ پورا کیا ہے  میں نے عہد نبھا ڈالا ہے  خاک میں خون ملا ڈالا ہے  اپنی چھاتی پہ لایا ہوں دشمن کی گولی کا تمغہ سینچ کے اپنے لہو سے امن کا پھول کھلا ڈالا ہے  کیسا لگتا ہوں میں اب دیکھو  تم سے وعدہ پورا کرکے  سب سے اونچا میرا پرچم ہے  کتنا رنگین میرا دامن ہے  پرچم اوڑھ کے آیا ہوں میں  ماں مجھ سے ناراض نہ ہونا میں نے تو بس قول نبھایا  پر چم کو اونچا لہرا یا
